Make your own "Pastel colors"

Spring is right around the corner. I personally cannot wait for it to come already. Spring is full of pretty things and beautiful natural colors all around us. There are so many different colors. We cannot own every color of nail polish that exists in the world. You can create new colors using nail polishes you already have though. For example, when you mix Blue with Yellow , you get Green . You can get Purple by mixing Blue and Red . Even just controlling the amount of each color you mix will result in different colors as well. I have some pictures for you to see how it works . I mixed White with tiny little bit of Blue , and I’ve got gorgeous Pastel blue . Doing the same thing, I used White with small amount of Dark pink , Yellow , and Green to get very light Pastel Pink , Patel Yellow and Pastel Green . This way, you will be able to create so many shades of Pastel colors which are perfect for Spring nails. Basically, wh

Saint Patrick’s Day Nail Art

When I was in elementary school on Saint Patrick’s Day if you didn’t wear green, the other kids would pinch you. Now that I’m older Saint Patrick’s Day involves Irish food, alcohol, and cute green nails. Holiday themed nails are so much fun to do. They’re a conversation starter if you go out and they just make you feel more festive than usual. You can copy my nails or pick a few to make a more uniform manicure!  Tips to get my manicure🍀🍀🍀 Paint all your nails with a white base coat Thumb: 1.        Paint 1-2 coats of light green polish 2.        Take a fine gold glitter polish and paint it a little more than half way down 3.        With the fine gold glitter repeat just don’t go as far  4.        Take a chunky gold glitter and don’t go as far as the previous coat 5.        With a cosmetics sponge dab the chunky glitter only on the tip of the nail Pointer: 1.        Pick 4 shades of green ranging from light to dark 2.        Usin

International Women's Day Nail Art

Happy International Women’s Day! You are beautiful, strong, and intelligent. Don’t let anyone tell you differently! Do what you want.  Don’t hold back.  Do what makes you happy.  Express yourself how you want.  "There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish." — Michelle Obama I wanted to do my nails to represent empowerment and being bold. Don’t let men tell you how you should look! My saving grace for this nail art was I 💗 Nail Art pen, it’s just like drawling on a piece of paper but it’s your nail. Tips: Before using a nail art pen use a quick dry top coat and let it fully dry. Test pressure and line thickness on a piece of paper before putting a design on your nails. Rest your hand on a steady surface. Take your time. 👽 End every manicure with a quick dry top coat 👽 Products I used: LuxePop Electrix “White Base Coat”  Sold exclusively at Walgreens Sally Hansen “Dries Instantly Top Coat”    Click

Steps for dry brush nail art: Paint a base coat and let dry Paint one coat of white nail polish Pick some bright neon polishes, I used 4: pink, purple, orange, and teal Taking your first color and wipe the excess nail polish off on the side of the bottle.
